BIO

Emma Ballachino is a printmaker, sculptor, and educator residing and working in Astoria, New York. Emma earned her BFA in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and her M.Ed in Art from Framingham State University.

Her work ranges from brightly colored monoprints to conceptually driven sculpture.

Emma is currently a professor of ceramics at Hofstra University and has taught ceramics and sculpture to high school students. She has participated in group exhibitions in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
